Presso l'Azienda Agricola Zangirolami tutto il processo produttivo del riso è scrupolosamente controllato per offrirvi la garanzia di un prodotto di qualità certificata. Il riso viene coltivato, raccolto, essiccato e trasformato direttamente in azienda dove si effettua anche la vendita diretta.
The Paddy Field
During spring our paddies are prepared throughout several agrarian techniques to get the soil ready for following stage. From April we begin to sow. When the maturation is complete (From the second half of September) we begin to harvest and dry rice.
Once it is completely dries, the unrefined rice is stored in silos until waiting to be processed, our warehouses are certified to meet the hygienical requirements of HACCP legislation.
The Processing
Unrefined rice is processed throughout a set of mechanical and optical equipment, it is whitened and filtered with the plansichter to get rid of broken grains.
Just before its packaging phase it goes through the process of automatic optical selection in order to remove stained grains and ensure the best quality of the product.
Consortium of the Po Delta Rice Protection IGP
The Consortium of the Po Delta Rice IGP was founded in December 2012 by the commitment of the 12 founding members.L'iter per il riconoscimento dell'IGP, fu avviato oltre 10 anni fa da un gruppo di aziende venete, a cui si affiancarono anche le principali aziende risicole ferraresi.
Il risultato raggiunto con la costituzione del Consorzio è il frutto di un lavoro di squadra che aggiunge un ulteriore tassello alla tutela e alla promozione del Riso del Delta del Po IGP.
Il Riso del Delta del Po IGP è il cereale appartenente alla tipologia Japonica, gruppo Superfino, nelle varietà Carnaroli, Volano, Baldo e Arborio.
